Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tooletly (the “Service”), available at https://tooletly.com and operated by Miteflux Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 16284524) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Tooletly provides a collection of free online utilities, including file converters, document and image tools, and network/domain lookup tools. Most tools run entirely within your web browser; certain network tools (such as WHOIS, DNS, IP, SSL and HTTP lookups) are performed by our servers on your behalf. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • process, upload or convert any content that you do not have the right to use, or that is illegal, malicious or infringes the rights of others;
  • use the network and lookup tools to attack, probe, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system, or to harvest data for unsolicited communications (spam) or other unlawful purposes;
  • abuse, overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, including by circumventing rate limits, or by automated or bulk use that places an unreasonable load on the Service;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service substantially from the Service, except as permitted by applicable open-source licences or mandatory law.

We may apply rate limits and other technical safeguards, and may suspend or restrict access that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.

3. Domain, IP and network data

Our WHOIS, RDAP, DNS, IP and related tools surface data obtained from third-party authoritative sources, including registry and registrar systems, the Regional Internet Registries and public DNS resolvers. That data is provided to you for lawful, informational purposes only. You must not use WHOIS, RDAP or registry data to enable mass unsolicited commercial communications, or in any way that violates the terms or policies of the relevant registry, registrar or registry operator, ICANN, or applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the files, text and other content you process with the Service (“Your Content”). For browser-based tools, Your Content is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored by us. For server-based tools, only the specific input you submit (for example, a domain name, IP address or URL) is sent to our servers to perform the requested lookup. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the necessary rights to use it.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that results, conversions or lookup data will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.

6. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business; and
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms will not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (£100).

Because the Service is provided free of charge, you acknowledge that this allocation of risk is reasonable.

7. Third-party services and software

The Service relies on third-party services and open-source software (for example, content delivery networks that host conversion engines, and public DNS, registry and registry-operator systems). Your use of the Service may involve requests to those parties, whose own terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Intellectual property

The Tooletly name, branding, design and original content are owned by Miteflux Technologies Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trade marks or branding.

9. Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above indicates when. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
